Chandrayaan-3 fell asleep forever on the ground of the moon
Doubts were there as early as in September. There was a fear that Chandrayaan-3 was asleep. Now that fear has proven as true. It is known that India's Chandrayaan-3 has really fallen asleep!
After completing its work, India's Chandrayaan-3 mission has fallen asleep on the moon. Lander Vikram and rover Pragyan have been discussed about a lot for last few days. But they are now in sleep mode. They were already asleep. But the expectation was that when the sun rises on the moon, which is called 'lunar sunrise', they will wake up again. But they did not. Vikram and Pragyan fell asleep after pouring water on India's space research organization 'ISRO's hope.
It was known a few days ago that Chandrayaan was not waking up at all. ISRO was trying to wake up! ISRO said they are trying to communicate with lander Vikram and rover Pragyan. However, they received no signal. One day of the moon is equal to 14 days of the earth. As a result, it was heard that ISRO will continue to try until the end of the lunar day.
At that time, the lander and rover somehow fell asleep in the dark on the south pole of the moon. But the sun was yet to rise at the south pole of the moon. ISRO informed that the sun shines on the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan. If Chandrayaan can be recharged from that light, then Vikram and Pragyan will start working again. But that hope of ISRO was not fulfilled.
